Curtin-Hebert Process
Curtin-Hebert cutters are milled (not stamped) to avoid the presence of burrs created during the stamping process. Milling creates a burr only on the last piece on a spindle (or every 50th piece). Therefore, Curtin-Hebert’s cutters are much more likely to spin burr free and prevent the cutters from sticking to each other. The result is a grinding wheel dresser that more accurately assists in the desired shaping of the wheel by the user.
Curtin-Hebert Grinding Wheel Dresser Benefits:- Cutters are manufactured from heat treated high-carbon steel.
- Extends life and improves efficiency of grinding wheel
- Lowers your grinding costs
- Increases your overall production by maximizing the life and efficiency of the grinding wheel
- Milled not stamped, preventing formation of burrs and helping in rotational flow and fluidity
Applications: Curtin-Hebert grinding wheel dressers are used for trueing, cleaning, sharpening and shaping of grinding wheels. Our dressers may also be utilized for rice milling, carpet laying and seaming. Curtin-Hebert dressers are designed for use on grinding wheels from 100mm to 1000mm in diameter. Our grinding wheel dressers keep grinding wheels in top working condition by squaring up the grinding face to maximize the wheel life and subsequently give a desired job finish.
